Are you wanting a home-birth here in the Whitsundays?
there are very limited options for home-births but there are options!! Let’s explore them below.
If you want a homebirth with a midwife, you will need to hire a private midwife.
Their packages includes prenatal appointments (some Medicare rebate is available), second midwife, birth planning, postnatal support, birth pool, equipment and on-call time.
Cost is between 5000-7000 depending on accommodation and traveling fees as well.

I’ve just had confirmation that Midwife Clarice (see her info below) is moving her family and business to the Whitsundays in January 2022!
We will have our own local home-birth midwife very soon and we are SO excited to have her!!
