Raspberry Leaf Tea is a very popular pregnancy tea with a wide range of benefits.
It is often recommended by midwifes, doulas and health providers and is usually avoided during the 1st trimester.
In the 3rd trimester, RLT is an excellent herb to help tone the uterus and muscles in preparation for childbirth. Raspberry Leaf reduces pain by toning the muscles that are used during labour and recovery after birth. It is also shown that RLT may help shorten labour and results in fewer medical interventions, such as c-sections.
It is also rich in many vitamins and minerals.
Please check with your healthcare provider before drinking red raspberry leaf tea during pregnancy.
